Salary: Lecturer: £33,242 – 36,309 per annum

Senior Lecturer: £37,394 - £45,954 per annum
This is predominantly a teaching position, but participation in scholarly activity and research is expected. The successful applicant will be supported in these activities, both within and outside the School and will be expected to make a contribution to the teaching and supervision of students on relevant undergraduate programmes, such as BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science, DipHE Operating Department Practice and BSc (Hons) Human Physiology.
The successful applicant will contribute specifically to lecturing and delivering practical classes including the use of simulation in part-task training. Applicants should have an Honours degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent qualifications and clinical experience. Experience in the use of computer-aided learning, directed self-learning, small group work and facilitated problem-based learning would be an advantage, as would the ability to teach some aspects within the broader area of healthcare.
The successful applicant will be appointed on the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer Scale according to qualifications and experience.
