HART Team Leader [Paramedics] - Gatwick

HART is expanding in SECAmb and we are therefore seeking HPC Registered Paramedics with previous supervisory management experience to train as HART Team Leaders. These posts would be ideal for Clinical Team Leaders with an interest in joining HART. Although day to day supervision of the team will be important, there will also be an emphasis on incident command and control.HART Team Leaders respond to potentially protracted incidents of a Chemical, Biological, Radioactive and Nuclear (CBRN) and Hazardous material (HAZMAT ) nature; structural collapse, confined space rescue, major transportation incidents, incidents requiring working at height, trench collapse and rescue incidents involving complex entrapment. The team may also be called upon to provides specialist clinical support and knowledge within an Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) situationIn addition to specific HART related work, Team Leaders will respond as an operational resource, as required, to
meet the needs of the Trust.You must have experience of supervisory management in a frontline NHS A+E Ambulance setting and demonstrate competence in team leadership, self discipline, communication, adaptability, planning, and decision making.
