The Faculty of Education and Health has a continuing agenda to develop and deliver education that meets the ever changing needs of the health and social care workforce. Due to a continuing growth in business we are seeking to appoint three experienced practitioners or academics to join the Department of Adult Nursing and Paramedic Science. The portfolio of the department has an overall focus on adult nursing and paramedic science and research related to these areas of practice.
You will contribute to the delivery of established and successful programmes with a focus on undergraduate paramedic science. Experience of working / teaching in a Paramedic role and experience of teaching and assessing students is essential. You should also have good interpersonal / communication skills as well as the ability to manage competing priorities.
You should have a current HCPC registration as a Paramedic and a relevant Masters Degree. It is advantageous that you have a recognised teaching qualification and a PhD however, we will also consider applications from those who are willing to work towards these.
This post requires a satisfactory enhanced DBS check. Our programmes are provided across two campuses and therefore travel is required.
