Full time position working 37 hours per week, 1.0 FTE An exciting opportunity has arisen to expand our dynamic team within the School of Health and Social Work. You will play an essential role both in the delivery and the continual development of our educational programmes, which are designed to support and promote the progression of the paramedic profession.
You will be an experienced paramedic registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or eligible for registration as a paramedic. You will have a sound knowledge and experience of teaching and/or supporting students and an interest in developing innovative ways of delivering our curricula.
You will have a sound knowledge base of Pathophysiology and Pharmacology and expected to participate in teaching, assessment and module management on our range of programmes. In addition to being involved in paramedic students’ clinical skills development, you will be expected to make a substantial contribution to the development and delivery of Pharmacology and Pathophysiology across the programmes, along with our inter-professional modules.
Under current UK Visa and Immigration Service regulations, the University is unlikely to be able to get a work permit in respect of this post. We can therefore only accept applications from people who will have the right to work in the UK for at least two years from the date of appointment.
