Out of Hours Advanced Paramedics

We are looking to expand our clinical team to work within our Out of Hours urgent primary care service. You will work as a key member of our clinical team currently consisting of GP’s, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, pharmacists and triage nurses. Supported by GP colleagues where appropriate, you will have responsibility for managing a clinical workload either via telephone advice or face to face in our treatment centres or Headquarters. Well-developed clinical assessment and treatment skills for all roles are essential. A non-medical prescribing qualification is an advantage but pgd’s will be in place for those staff who have the necessary clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of urgent primary care patients who have not yet undertaken a prescribing qualification.
For Advanced Nurse Practitioners with the necessary experience, there may be the opportunity to undertake home visits (gtd cars and drivers will be provided).
