HEMS Paramedic
Employer Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals in partnership with Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust
Salary Band 6 plus up to 25% unsocial hours payment
Are you an experienced and dynamic HCPC registered paramedic with a desire to develop your skills both clinically and academically?
Are you interested in working in a small, highly focussed Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) team delivering enhanced care by helicopter or rapid response car to patients suffering from serious injury and critical illness?
Then consider a HEMS paramedic job working for the Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust.
We are a world class organisation with high quality patient care at the heart of everything we deliver.
You would be joining a small, hardworking but friendly team currently working across two operating bases at Marden in Kent and Redhill in Surrey, delivering a 24/7 HEMS service to the counties of Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
The HEMS Paramedic role is central to the effective delivery of the HEMS operation and we are looking for people who can function well under pressure, deal with complex issues involving both clinical and aviation decisions, who can come up with sensible patient focussed solutions and who will work well within a small multi-disciplinary team.
The positions will be employed by Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals as an NHS post with a secondment to Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust.
