South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust SWASFT is proud to be the new provider of the Out-Of-Hours service across Gloucestershire from 1 April 2015. The Trust is committed in its vision of providing seamless service for patients across the OOH, 999 and 111 services which in turn provides a satisfying and rewarding environment in which clinicians can provide joined up, integrated care, practice autonomously whilst benefiting from all the professional support a clinical organisation of our size can offer.
The out of hours work is delivered in a number of different ways which provides some variety and opportunity in the way in which your work can be organised. We will take into account your experience and your own preferences but whether your manning one of our response vehicles, attending patients in their own homes or working out of a treatment centre, minor injuries unit or an Emergency Department you’ll be responsible for the assessment, treatment and care of patients who use our services.
As an established provider of out of hours GP Led Services we are looking for passionate clinicians to join our team, committed to their own professional development and that of the team they work with whilst also contributing to how the service is run and evolves, to the benefit of the patients we respond to.
Applicants should be qualified with a BScHons/Masters in Emergency &Urgent Care practice, or equivalent, and must be HCPC registered Paramedic or NMC registered.
Salary: £25,783 - £34,530 pa
