International Training Specialist - 6 Month Contract - Basingstoke
An exciting new opportunity for an International Training Specialist to join a global market leading pharmaceutical company has arisen. The role is based in Basingstoke for a 6 month contract.

Role Overview
The primary focus for this role is Product and Skills Training, analysing training needs, working with International Commercial Teams and then designing and delivering appropriate training programmes for product training and skills training. You will be working with Global Business Units and International Commercial Teams to identify and deliver appropriate product training across 2 key pillars from the following: ADHD, GI, Renal/Haematology.

You will be required to create appropriate training programmes to increase product knowledge and skills, co-ordinate and measure the effectiveness of their delivery, and review the results, in all 11 Local Operating Countries. This role also requires you to manage Zinc Job Bags for projects and to ensure they are completed on schedule.

Responsibilities within the role include:
Product training relating to initial training of new Reps, ongoing training for experienced Reps, new product launches, changes in product licences, and new competitors.
Designing and implementing standard Initial Product Training Courses for new Representatives and new Product Managers.
Utilising appropriate systems for measuring the delivery and effectiveness of training, and incorporate key learning into future events and training.
Utilising adult and blended learning principles and leverage the latest technology to provide training.
Managing Training Job Bags for projects to ensure they are signed off according to the schedule agreed. Liaise with Copy Approval Teams and problem solve with them to keep momentum of Job bags.
Seamlessly integrating selling skills with all Product Training.

The requirements for this role are as follows:
Science degree or equivalent paramedic background
Experience of a Sales Representative role in the Pharmaceutical Industry
Experience of delivering a training solutions to a group of Sales Representatives
Demonstrated ability to work in Project teams
Experience in a field training role, Sales Management role, or Product Management role
Proficient in one other European language
Experience of the development of effective salesforce training for pharmaceutical product launches
You will be able to demonstrate competence in several disease areas
The ability to work from an initial project brief, through to delivery and measurement of training interventions. (Project Management)
Competent computer skills, with knowledge of e-learning and web-based learning systems

Due to the nature of this position, though it is based in the Basingstoke office, it will also involve some European travel; this is estimated to be approximately 3 trips per month, including some overnight stays.
