We wish to appoint a Senior Lecturer with substantial theoretical knowledge and practical skill in Paramedic/out of hospital care to help us move this important and growing area of our education provision forward.
You will facilitate learning across pre-registration and continuous professional development paramedic programmes. You will have experience of working within a healthcare organisation in a position of responsibility, together with experience in Paramedic science/healthcare education in the area of Paramedic practice. A minimum of a first degree or equivalent in a healthcare or education related subject is required, as well as a possession of a teaching qualification or a willingness to undertake this within 2 years of commencing post, along with current registration on the HPC professional register as a Paramedic. As an experienced teacher you will be used to leading modules and programmes of study.
This post is permanent, working 37 hours per week (1.0fte)
The post requires a satisfactory enhanced CRB check.
