North East Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NEAS) would like
to invite applications from qualified IHCD or HPC registered Paramedics
and newly qualified Paramedics, for Paramedic positions within the south
of the Trust service area.
Candidates should posses excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to demonstrate effective social skills gained from experience with dealing with the public. Blue light driver training is highly desirable.
Candidates must be HPC registered and able to demonstrate evidence of continuing personal and professional development at interview.
Applicants must hold category C1 and D1 driving entitlement and the successful candidate will be required to apply for an Enhanced CRB Disclosure. Candidates must not have had any previous driving disqualifications or have been prosecuted for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs or have more than 3 penalty points.
Applicants successful at short-listing stage will be required to attend an assessment on the 9 November 2011.

If you have not been employed for a considerable amount
of time but have a previous employment, then you should state one
reference from your last known employer and also give a personal
reference from a person of some standing in their community, e.g. your
doctor, solicitor etc.
If you have been in full time education, you must give a reference that is from your academic institution. Failure to complete this section may result in your application not being processed
