About the Role
The Faculty of Health and Social Care is at the forefront of health and social care education in the North West and is one of the largest providers in the region. The Paramedic Department has an outstanding reputation for student and stakeholder satisfaction across all areas of paramedic education. With international collaborations established across Europe and South Africa, the department is at the forefront of paramedic education, knowledge transfer and pre-hospital research.
Your role will be to support the delivery of the Paramedic Education Portfolio. This will involve providing excellent teaching and learning opportunities for students, planning modules, participating in marking and moderation, acting as personal tutor for a student group to ensure an excellent student learning experience.
About You
With a relevant professional qualification and proven experience in the field of paramedic practice, you will have experience of working collaboratively with other Health Care and Emergency Services. You will be skilled in supervising and assessing students and an excellent communicator at all levels. With a willingness to work flexibly, you will be an effective team player with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the subject. You will also be committed to engaging in scholarship and research.
