Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) is a new and challenging team set up throughout the country to provide ambulance response to major incidents involving hazardous materials, or which present hazardous environments resulting from an accident or deliberate cause.

The HART Team is based in Eastleigh, near Southampton, Hampshire and all new candidates will go through formal training.

Detailed information regarding the criteria required for a HART Operative is available within the Job Description and Person Specification, however, some of the essential criteria are:
• HPC Registered Paramedic or Qualified Technician due to complete Paramedic training
• Emergency Driving Qualification
• High standards of clinical care
• Evidence of working in a multi-agency environment
• Ability to work in enclosed spaces, at height and in other difficult areas
• Ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure

We would like the new HART Operative to commence work as soon as possible.
