Location: Scunthorpe & GrimsbyEast Midlands Ambulance Service is recruiting Ambulance Care Assistants (ACAs) in the above areas. The contract terms we are offering are on Bank Contact, therefore we are not offering permanent hours. However, we would offer you hours of employment as and when the organisation requires additional resources. There are a range of shifts across 7 days. Training for the role will be facilitated at
Bishops Court Education Centre, Lincoln and the course will be running for 4 weeks from 1 July 2013. On successful completion of this course you will be required to provide high quality patient care and transportation to and from designated destinations as directed, maintain high standards of service delivery and ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
It is essential that you hold a full current driving licence (including Categories A & E – old style licence or Categories B new style licence) with at least 2 years driving experience. Minor offences may be considered. With excellent communications skills, you must have 2 GCSE’s in Maths and English minimum Grade C or above, or equivalent qualification in numeracy and literacy. Evidence of a caring approach in a work or personal environment is essential. Qualification requirements for our roles can be found on the following link;
