Registered Paramedic or Registered Nurse - Clinical Advisors - Welwyn Garden City 35k

Leading Hertfordshire company requires Clinical Advisors to provide support to the soon to launch 111 service. This is a 24 hours a day 365 days a year call handling service, that will enable call handler to triage and match the patient with the service in their local area that can deliver the care they need.They need professional, Registered Paramedics, Qualified Practice Nurse or Registered Nurses to join the friendly service and work in the role of a Clinical Advisor for an immediate start.
Your role as Clinical Advisor will be to manage calls referred to you, as well as offering clinical advice. Using your professional judgement, you will be responsible for signposting patients to the most appropriate Health Care provider or Clinician.
Basic salary £35K (Pro-rata)
Minimum of 16 hours and maximum of 37.5 hours (optional)

Person Specification
Clinical Advisor, Registered nurse, Registered paramedic or equivalent such as Practice Nurse, Midwife (with a relevant nurses qualification), old style RGN or SRN who have kept there registration current and may be wanting to return to work.
Fantastic communication skill to be able to talk to the public over the phone in a measured calm and methological manner.
Ideally live within easy reach of Welwyn Garden City
Strong work ethic
Able to complete a variety of shifts.
