MA Healthcare Limited, specialist publishers of nursing, medical and healthcare journals, is seeking to appoint an editor for the monthly Journal of Paramedic Practice. This presents an excellent challenging opportunity to join a leading independent healthcare publisher.
Reporting to the publisher, you will be responsible for the overall editorial process for the monthly professional journal and its associated projects including the online International Journal of Paramedic Practice, achieving high quality content. The role requires you to be multi-skilled with the ability to sub-edit, preferably clinical and professional articles, write, commission articles and lay out pages. You will be involved in the commercial growth of the journal.
This presents a superb opportunity for the right candidate either with some experience of editing healthcare related journals. Familiarity with Adobe In-Design would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be of graduate level or equivalent.
You will be self-motivated and enjoy working independently, with strong communication skills, able to work to strict deadlines and under pressure, enthusiastic and committed.
