Salary: £31,020 to £35,938 per annum (pro rata if part time).
Applicants are invited for the position of Tutor in Paramedic Science in the College of Human and Health Science, Reference AC00308.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the College providing expertise in the study of key aspects of paramedic education and practice within the multi-disciplinary team. The main teaching duties will be associated with the Higher Education Diploma in Paramedic Science, although there will be the opportunity for involvement in a variety of other programmes. The post holder will be encouraged to undertake related research and scholarly activity. The post will involve a range of administrative duties associated with this academic role.
Applicants must be possess a first degree and be a state registered paramedic with substantial experience of working within that field. A recognised teaching qualification (eg Ambulance Training Award and/or PGCE) would be desirable as would a post graduate qualification and or PhD (or near completion) in a related field. Candidates must also have a commitment to maintain their clinical skills.
