St John Ambulance North East region, is looking to recruit qualified staff to support the growth of the ambulance services department.
Based at any building within the West district, we need qualified staff to deliver a Patient Transport Service.
This Patient Transport Service is required 7 days per week and staff will participate in a 24/7 rota pattern to ensure all work streams are covered.
Ambulance Services require staff to drive under non-emergency conditions and to deliver a responsive level of care, ensuring high standards in personal appearance, physical fitness and to uphold the reputation of St John and Ambulance Services.
Staff will be expected to hold a current PTA certificate and successfully complete driver training to accredited standards.
It is essential that applicants have held a full UK manual driving licence for two years with a maximum of 3 penalty endorsements to apply for this post. Applications from non drivers can not be considered on this occaision.
