Job description
This is an exciting time to join the innovative, progressive and supportive Urgent and Ambulatory Care Service as an Emergency Practitioner in the Oxfordshire.
This position will provide you with a challenging but rewarding opportunity to develop your skills and to deliver excellent care to a wide group of patients. Emergency Practitioners within our team have the opportunity to work within Minor Injury Units and the GP Out of Hours Service. The variety of work enables staff to autonomously assess and treat patients both within their own home and within the Urgent Care bases.
We are looking for practitioners experienced in either acute or community care who will share our values with us. Successful candidates will have competent clinical assessment skills, clinical decision making skills and clinical leadership ability with the passion to provide patient centred care in both a minor injury and minor illness setting. Clinical competency and skill are the key application criteria with an advanced clinical academic background being advantageous but not necessary if competency can be demonstrated.
