Service Care Solutions are excited to be able to offer 6 months minimum placements for experienced and qualified Paramedics to work with the UK’s best and most professional Ambulance Service, LAS, giving you an excellent opportunity to work with some of the country’s best front line medical crews, as well as receiving a 2 day training and assessment scheme from senior members of the service completely free of charge.
The ideal candidate will be a HPC registered Paramedic with either a IHCD qualification or degree/diploma in Paramedic Science. Recent NHS experience is highly desirable but not essential. It is desirable for the Paramedics to have a C1 licence and blue light training however it is not an essential requirement to be considered. Paramedics who have recently worked for a private ambulance company are also very welcome to apply.
All the work will be front line ambulance crew work. There are positions available across London and the home counties. You will generally work in a team of three but your crew may change dependent upon what cover is needed. You will work on a 4 week rota determined in advance and will be offered a 6 month contract. The shifts will mainly consist of nights and weekends so you must be flexible in the hours you can work. All shifts will be 12 hours. Shifts on bank holidays can be paid at a higher rate.
• All training must be up to date and proof of continued professional development will be required.
• If you are from the EU we can accept your application if you are registered with the HPC.
• Uniforms can be provided at no cost to the employee
