You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing unscheduled care in a variety of settings. You will work within Primary Care Emergency Centres, Minor Injuries or Accident and Emergency departments as well as supporting the operational delivery of South East’s performance plan. You will help to provide integrated healthcare to patients closer to their home.
Applications are invited from current Paramedics who can demonstrate evidence of four years experience, of which a minimum of two years must be post Paramedic registration. It is highly desirable to have evidence of post-registration development e.g. qualifications and experience in trauma, resuscitation, care of children, teaching and research. Applicants will have completed a minor injuries and minor illness module at SCQF level 9 or be able to commit to completing these modules within an agreed timescale.
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and forward thinking Paramedics who are capable of working as independent Practitioners within a flexible, multi-professional team.Paramedics will retain their band 5 salary until they qualify as Community Paramedics at which point they will progress to band 6 in line with NHS Scotland knowledge and skills framework.
