37.5 hours per week – including evening and weekend work, therefore this role will attract unsocial hours enhancements.
The Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust serves a population of around 3 million, offering varied and modern services that are tailor made for each community’s differing environmental and medical needs, from cycles to fast response cars, frontline ambulances, helicopters and nurses in our control centres.
Ambulance work can be stimulating, unpredictable and never lacking in interest. It can be very rewarding but sometimes be physically and emotionally demanding. If you feel you have the necessary skills to apply, we are seeking to employ a number of State Registered Paramedics in the following areas:
Caerphilly, Gwent, RCT and Cardiff & Vale

• You must be a State Registered Paramedic
• A category C1 driving licence is essential
• We will not consider applicants with more than 3 penalty points for motoring offences
• Candidates MUST complete the declaration form attached to the NHS jobs vacancy and return it to the HR Department at the address provided on the form.
• All appointments are subject to Criminal Records Bureau screening
• The selection process consists of a fitness test, driving assessment (including a written highway code test) Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and a formal interview
