Casual/Bank Event Medical Staff - Southampton

We are looking for Paramedics, IHCD Technicians, EMTs, ECAs, First Responders, First Aiders and Support Staff to provide medical support at events and long distance ad-hoc ambulance transport, mainly in the southern counties of the UK.

GB-EMS are able to provide event medical cover almost anywhere in the UK, we currently cover regular events in: Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Gloucestershire, Dorset, Sussex, and Surrey with the occasional ad-hoc requirement further afield.

Duties and Responsibilities

Providing ad-hoc, casual medical cover to booked public events within our working region.

Rate of pay will depend on your qualifications / role: First Aiders will receive approx. £7.00 per hour, while Paramedics will receive approx. £22.50 per hour.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required

Requirements are dependent on skill level:

First Aiders: Must have a minimum of HSE First Aid at Work or a nationally recognised equivalent.

First Responders: Must have completed either IHDC FPOS or a relevant advanced first aid qualification.

EMTs: Must have completed a recognised EMT-B pathway.

IHCD Technicians: Must have completed a the full IHCD Ambulance Aid Qualification.

Paramedics: Must be HPC registered and have completed the Paramedic Training Pathway (Either IHCD or Degree).

A driving license would be an advantage.

All candidates must have completed a Moving and Handling Qualification or refresher within the past 12 months AND will be subject to references and an acceptable CRB Check.
